NHS Pensions - scheme pay election deadline 31 July 2017

If you have an annual allowance tax charge arising from growth in your NHS pension for 2015/16 that you would like wholly or partly to be paid by the NHS Pension Scheme (and recouped from your NHS pension benefits) then you have until the end of the month to submit the election.

It must be submitted on time as it cannot be backdated. If you do not submit the election and have an annual allowance tax charge arising for 2015/16 (regardless of whether NHS pensions have informed you of this or not) then you will have to settle the tax directly if you have not already done so.
