Larking Gowen, as part of its planned expansion programme has recruited 15 new members of staff

A mixture of GCSE and A-level students and recent graduates, they will be joining the firm's offices across the region and will all be undertaking a comprehensive training programme.

"While these are challenging times for many businesses we need to continue to make sure we grow as a practice," said Larking Gowen chairman, David Whitehead.

"That is why we have taken the decision to invest in such a large number of new staff and we wish them well with their careers."

Eleven students from East Anglian chartered accountants and business advisors, Larking Gowen, have had their exam successes recognised.

To celebrate their achievement they were invited to lunch by Larking Gowen Chairman, David Whitehead, and Human Resources Executive, Julie Best.

"To have such a large group of students pass these challenging exams is brilliant, and I am pleased to have this opportunity to congratulate them personally," said David Whitehead.

"Professionally qualified staff are important to the success of Larking Gowen and therefore we have a comprehensive training and development programme to ensure this, with experienced staff on hand to offer support to our younger recruits."
