New Partner joins chartered accountants

Larking Gowen is delighted to announce that it has appointed Anders Rasmussen as a new Partner joining their corporate team on Monday 6 November.

Former Corporate Partner for Grant Thornton, Mr Rasmussen was born and educated in Norfolk and attended the University of Birmingham. He joined the Norwich practice of KPMG in 1988 and then moved to Grant Thornton in 2000.

After a short spell in London and two secondments out into industry he has spent most of his career working in the local market advising and providing assurance services to a wide range of businesses including medium to large privately held commercial companies and groups as well as some not for profit organisations.

The move to Larking Gowen heralds the start of a new era in his career, as he joins the firm to lead and drive the development of their corporate offering, as he explains:

“I have spent nearly thirty years working with a wide range of privately held and family run businesses in East Anglia. I am delighted to join Larking Gowen which already has a strong and growing reputation for providing first class business advice, excellent client service and value for money to clients in that market.

It is an exciting time to be joining the firm as it launches a refresh of the brand, as well as a new website and a range of measures aimed at retaining existing and attracting new talent to the business. We have ambitious growth plans which build on the firm’s position as a leading business advisor in the region and I very much look forward to being part of that”

Jon Woolston, Managing Partner at Larking Gowen, said:

“We are delighted to be welcoming Anders to join our Corporate Practice here at Larking Gowen. Anders has an outstanding reputation and his experience and expertise will bring real value to our clients and our people across the region.”
