The Big Hoot Art Trail 2022

The Big Hoot Art Trail has begun, and the owls have officially landed! Our owl, Parliament of Owls, is sitting proudly, waiting to be discovered! Make sure you get those walking boots on, and head out to support St Elizabeth Hospice!

Why not download the official Big Hoot App which will help you keep track of the owls that you discover, and unlock loads of special offers and rewards along the route. Plus, you can add to the gallery of owls, vote for your favourite and track how far you’ve walked.

You can enter our owl-tastic colouring competition too – just head out on the trail, spot our owl*, enter the code into the app, and colour in our C-owl-culator! All budding Picassos who enter will be in with a chance of winning a family membership pass to the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, and runners-up will be able to sponsor an owl!

*Hint, it’s in Ipswich town centre, number 45 on the trail map!

How to enter*: Simply download and colour in the C-owl-culator owl through the app (or visit larking-gowen.co.uk/bighoot) and ask a parent or guardian to take a picture and tweet a copy tagging in our very own @ParliamentOwl22. If you’re not on social media, you can email a copy to businessdevelopment@larking-gowen.co.uk. (Big owls can enter too if they fancy their chances…)

The Big Hoot is being coordinated by St Elizabeth Hospice in partnership with Wild at Art and is running over 12 weeks during the summer. Individually designed owls have been placed in various locations in Ipswich for visitors to find, whilst raising awareness and funds for the incredible work that the team at St Elizabeth Hospice do in our community.

*full terms & conditions of entry can be found here.
