What to expect:
The webinar will cover a range of tax and legal issues that will be of interest to medical practitioners both in their personal and professional capacity, including:
- Why Inheritance Tax planning is important including insights on how to approach it, what to consider and planning opportunities available to you
- Why it is important to have Wills and Powers of Attorney in place, what happens when disputes arise and how future issues can be planned for and (hopefully) avoided. Within this discussion, David will touch upon the role of the medical practitioner when commenting on a patient’s capacity.
- Family law issues which may arise for medics, and their patients, including financial settlements and arrangements for children, process options for resolving issues that arise, how medics can help their patients access advice and support, and particular issues of interest to medical professionals experiencing family law issues in their personal lives.
