Larking Gowen: Our history
Our story began in 1888, when Charles Larking bought a small Norwich accountancy practice. His sons joined as partners and the firm became Larking & Larking.
In 1969, Larking & Larking merged with Harman & Gowen, another well-established Norfolk accountant that had been founded in 1906. The newly formed Larking & Gowen quickly grew, setting up several specialist departments and establishing nine offices throughout East Anglia.
Today, we're a major independent partnership of accountants and tax advisors and one of the UK’s top 50 accountancy firms.
