Partner ‘arrested’ for crimes against comedy in Home-Start’s Jail and Bail 2022
Partner Becky Ames was ‘arrested’ for crimes against comedy in Home-Start Suffolk’s Jail and Bail charity event on Friday 18 November, and held at a secure location at Ipswich Waterfront.
Becky ‘Bad Puns’ Ames was ‘arrested’ along with Gavin ‘Dad Jokes’ Wood of Beckett Financial Services, and the bail was set at £1,000 each!
A further ten individuals were arrested for a multitude of ridiculous crimes and they each needed to raise the funds to secure their release.
Becky said, “I was delighted to take part in this fantastic event to help raise funds for such a worthy local cause. The day was great fun and I’m glad I didn’t bail out!”
The ‘criminals’ have already collectively raised over £14,000 in support of Suffolk families.
Home-Start in Suffolk is the county's largest family support charity. They aim to give children the best possible start in life by supporting parents to grow in confidence, strengthen their relationships with their children and improve their health and wellbeing.
