Suffolk Mind’s Midsummer Celebration

Suffolk Mind is hosting its second annual Midsummer Celebration, which Larking Gowen is proud to sponsor. The festival celebrates the beauty of the season while also raising the funds needed to continue the invaluable mental health and wellbeing support the charity provides across the county.

Taking place on 13 July at Fynn Valley Terrace, Ipswich, the evening is set to host a variety of unique entertainment, music, food and fun, with the opportunity to win premium prizes in the raffle and auction, including a luxury six-night cruise, all in aid of raising the vital funds needed to support mental health throughout Suffolk.

Becky Ames, a partner at Larking Gowen, commented, “Sponsoring the Midsummer Celebration is one way we’re demonstrating our support for the great work that Suffolk Mind does in our local area. We all have mental health, moving up and down the ‘mental health continuum’ depending on the challenges and stresses of life. Suffolk Mind supports young people with The Mental Health Kitbag, provides support services for adults, and offers practical mental health training for organisations via The Mental Health Toolkit.

“Suffolk Mind also recently launched a professional networking group, SuffolkForward Network, to encourage lively and informative discussion around mental health, enabling us to look after ourselves and the people around us better. We’re proud to be one of the founding members of the network and will share with you what we learn about initiatives and available resources.”
