The accountants have laced up their running shoes for the ultimate Corporate Challenge!
As the 2024 Larking Gowen Ipswich Half Marathon approaches, local businesses are invited to join the Corporate Challenge. We encourage businesses to participate in this opportunity for team building and keeping fit with a bit of healthy rivalry thrown in!
Taking place on Sunday, 22 September, the Corporate Challenge will run alongside the main race. The half marathon welcomes participants of all abilities, whether for fundraising or personal goals.
There are over 25 members of #TeamLG taking on the Challenge, and we’re ready for some friendly competition!
Teams of at least four members will compete together, aiming for the quickest combined time to be crowned Corporate Challenge Champions of 2024.
The half-marathon promotes a healthier lifestyle, enhances employee engagement, and strengthens local business support.
The route starts and ends at Portman Road Stadium, home of Ipswich Town Football Club, and includes Ipswich’s iconic landmarks, giving plenty of opportunities for memorable marathon photos.
Runners can fundraise for their chosen charities or support one of the event’s partners, including St Elizabeth Hospice and Suffolk Mind. Sponsors include Ipswich Borough Council, BBC Radio Suffolk, Ipswich Jaffa Running Club, and Marathon Photos Live.
