Biography
Jack is a seasoned Corporate Finance professional with over a decade of experience advising business owners and stakeholders on strategic transactions. Since joining Larking Gowen in 2013 from a national accountancy firm, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2011, Jack has built a reputation for delivering high-value outcomes across a diverse range of sectors.
He leads on business sales, acquisitions, and management buy-outs (MBOs), typically handling deal values between £2m and £50m. His commercial insight and hands-on approach have made him a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, SMEs, and corporate boards navigating complex financial decisions.
Jack holds the prestigious ICAEW Corporate Finance qualification, which he passed with distinction in 2017, underscoring his technical excellence and commitment to professional development.
Beyond transactional work, Jack is a recognised expert in share and business valuations, frequently acting in an expert witness capacity. He is a member of the Expert Witness Institute and is known for his clarity, independence, and analytical rigour in contentious valuation matters.
Outside of his professional role, Jack serves as Trustee Finance Director at Corton House Limited, a charitable care home and sheltered accommodation provider in Norwich, where he contributes strategic financial oversight to support its mission of compassionate care. He is also the coach of his sons youth football team.
