Biography
Lee joined Larking Gowen in 2003 and successfully passed the Joint Insolvency Examination Board Exams in 2014, earning several national awards for his achievements. He was promoted to partner in April 2019.
With extensive experience across all areas of formal insolvency and a wide range of business sectors, Lee has also handled complex cases involving deceased insolvent estates and deceased directors or shareholders.
Recent assignments include:
- An insolvent liquidation of a bioscience research company, involving the disposal of significant plant, equipment and intellectual property.
- Supporting the trustees of a charity which has ceased trading in winding down its affairs, including managing sensitive data and devising a disposal strategy for a large unique property and surrounding land.
- Assisting a sole trader with successfully obtaining an IVA to deal with substantial HMRC debts.
- Overseeing multiple solvent liquidations, with asset distributions ranging from £30,000 to over £10 million.
Lee is an affiliate member of the ICAEW and a fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3).
