Biography
Liam is a Senior Accountant in the Farms & Rural Business team, working across our North Norfolk and Norwich offices. He joined Larking Gowen in 2022 and qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant in 2025. Liam began his career in 2019, completing his AAT studies and gaining valuable experience at another leading regional firm. Currently studying for his Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification, Liam is committed to delivering expert tax advice and compliance services.
Growing up in a Norfolk farming-oriented market town, Liam understands the challenges faced by small businesses. He works with a range of owner-managed businesses and SMEs, including partnerships, companies, trusts, and individuals, with a focus on agricultural accounting and taxation. Liam supports farmers, landowners, and contractors with farm accounts, financial reporting, tax compliance and planning, VAT, bookkeeping, capital allowances, and trust tax services. He also has experience in corporate and employment tax, including claims and elections, gained during a period of work in our Business Tax Advisory team.
Liam takes an active interest in digital accounting solutions and holds certifications in leading cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Dext. He stays ahead of emerging tax legislation and compliance requirements, combining technical expertise with a relationship-led approach to ensure clients benefit from efficient processes, accurate reporting, and up-to-date guidance.
